In this edition of the Hydrogeophysics and Environmental Geophysics column, we are pleased to have a feature article from Alex Kaminsky of Zond Software Ltd and co-author Anton Khrapov from ZONGE (Aust) Pty Ltd. Alex Kasminsky through his Zond Software inversion tools (http://zond-geo.com/english/) provides practical tools for the important task of reducing uncertainty in geophysical models, by applying joint inversion to the results of two or more co-located geophysical methods, applied at a site, for a range of near-surface geophysical applications in the end-user sectors that NSG services. In this article he explains with several case examples how joint inversion works, with focus on hydrogeologically relevant examples. For further details please contact Alex Kaminsky directly ([email protected]).

We welcome hydrogeophysics and environmental geophysics contributions such as feature articles and relevant news items to this regular column. Please contact me at [email protected] if you have a contribution.
